Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus Incognito Mode

If you surf the web a lot from your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus, it’s ok to expect some privacy not just while you’re doing it, but after, when you’re done using the web. For such instances, when you don’t want your browser to remember all your previous steps or Google to track all your moves, using the Incognito Mode of the Google Chrome browser is a handy feature.

When you’re using it for navigation, your search queries and your viewing history will no longer be saved. The same goes for the passwords that you type in or any other kind of information that the browser would usually memorize.

This super-awesome killswitch that makes the app instantly forget how to save your navigation history does it all, except for one thing – it won’t delete the cookies, which will remain stored on your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus whether you use the Incognito Tab or not. But, of course, that’s just a minor detail.

To activate the Incognito Mode on Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Plus…

  1. Launch the Chrome browser;
  2. Tap the 3-dot icon to access the settings;
  3. Tap on “new incognito tab”.

You’ll see a black screen instead of your regular navigation window, the sign that you’re now working in the Incognito Mode.

If you’re not a fan of the Google Chrome browser, use the play Store to download any other browser – some of them will offer the private navigation as a default feature! Speaking of which, we recommend you use on your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus the Opera Browser (comes with a handy browser-wide privacy mode) or Dolphin Zero, an even more popular Chrome alternative.
