If someone keeps calling when you don’t want them to, it’s the classic definition of an unwanted call. Coming from a friend, an acquaintance, a nosy telemarketer or a weird stalker, all it matters is that you want to make that call stop. And you can, by blocking its number – this function is easily accessible from any Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus!
Blocking or rejecting calls automatically – when you block a call, the device will reject it by default, without you getting to hear it ringing – can be performed on different individual numbers. If there is more than one person bugging you, you cannot block batches of numbers, but you can take them one by one and make sure you’re never gonna hear their calls again.
How to block a particular contact on Galaxy S8/S8+ Plus:
- Launch the dedicated Phone app;
- Access the Call Log tab;
- Tap on the number you wish to block;
- Tap on the MORE button from the upper right corner;
- You’ll see an option labeled as “Add to auto reject list” in there;
- Tap on it and the number will go straight to your auto reject list.
That’s what you need to do every single time. You should notice that, if the person will try to call you again, you won’t hear the call, but you will see it on your Call Log tab.
So, whenever you will feel like taking the number out of the block list, all you have to do is to select the number, tap on MORE, and select the option labeled as “Remove from auto reject list”. The Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus will automatically unblock that number.
