You may have noticed that on your OnePlus 5, your notification pull down bar has a variety of toggles for the settings and depending on your carrier, you will even have a slider that is always present to have your brightness changed of the display.
If you pull down the notification with your two fingers, you will be able to gain access to “Quick Settings”. You will be able to have the notification bar changed from this page for the OnePlus 5. If you take a look below, we will show you how you can edit and set the personal notification bar below.
How Can I Customize The OnePlus 5 Notification Bar
- Make sure your OnePlus 5 is turned on.
- Have your notification bar pulled down and choose the top right hand corner squares icon to gain access to the “Quick Settings” or you can pull the top of your screen down using two fingers.
- Choose the “Pencil” icon that is located at the top of your display.
- The next step will depend on the wireless carrier you have. You will need to navigate to your notification panel edit settings location. You will be able to remove your brightness adjustment slider from your bar and you can set your quick settings buttons that you wish to customize.
All you need to do is click and hold whatever toggle you wish to get rid of and once done it will highlight it and move and drop it wherever you would like.
Once you have completed the steps that are above, you should now be able to view your new favorite settings or toggles to the Active buttons that you have just customized. This is actually the initial list you can view when you pull down the notification bar and also a larger menu that is for the “Quick Settings” that you will be able to gain access by swiping with two fingers.
