A good way to describe Incognito Mode on your OnePlus 5 is like a kill switch that will not remember what you click on or view during your internet sessions. It is also important to keep in mind that Incognito Mode does not delete cookies that get save on the smartphone even with Incognito Tab.
In Private Mode, viewing history or search queries won’t be saved. It will also not remember any logins, passwords or other things.
How to turn Private Mode ON:
- Make sure your smartphone is turned on.
- Navigate to your OnePlus Chrome Browser.
- Choose the three-dot icon in the upper hand corner.
- Choose the “New Incognito tab” and black screen will appear and not remember what was on it before
You can also use other types of Internet browsers on your Play Store that also do this by default and will not remember any data of yours. A good alternative for using Chrome is Dolphin Zero for the OnePlus 5. You can also use the Internet browser called Opera Browser, which is very popular for a lot of OnePlus 5s that also has privacy mode that you can turn on.
