The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have recently been released and many people love the device. The phones features great new qualities like wireless charging, better cameras and speed performance. Some of suggested that they’d like to know how to make their iPhone a little faster or even fix minor bugs/issues that they have with their smartphone. There’s two different ways that you can fix these types of troubleshooting things. The first is by completing a factory reset and the other is to complete a clear cache of your phone. In addition, you can always do a hard reset, but this should be your last resort because it’ll delete everything and make the phone feel like it just came out of the box for the first time.
How to clear app cache on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus:
- Power on your iPhone
- Tap on Settings
- Go to General
- Browse and tap on Storage and iCloud Usage
- Select on Manage Storage
- Tap on Documents and Data
- Swipe to the left for each item you don’t want and would like to clear the cache for
The steps above will allow you to manually clear cache for individual apps. There’s another way to delete all cache at once so you can save some time. This can be done by going to Edit and tapping on Delete All. When you do this it’ll remove all saved settings and data on the app like usernames, passwords, and settings.

If you’ve already cleared the cache and still issues are going on with your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, you should reboot the iPhone.
When you go to factory reset the iPhone, it’ll remove the basic information from your device and generally fixes any bugs or issues that you’ve been dealing with.
