How To Make Ringtones For iPhone Xs And iPhone Xs Max

Prepare to edit your song, because you can’t use it in any format…

  1. Update the iTunes app to the newest version;
  2. Select your song;
  3. Use right-click (or ctrl-click) to access the options;
  4. Tap on Get Info;
  5. Create the start/stop times of your ringtone (only 30 seconds in between);
  6. Use right-click once again;
  7. Tap on Create AAC version;
  8. Copy the newly created file;
  9. Delete the original song;
  10. Change its extension (from .m4a) to .m4r;
  11. Add this edited file to iTunes;

  1. Go back to Settings;
  2. Select Sounds;
  3. Select Ringtone;
  4. Browse for your file;
  5. Select it and save the changes.
