How To Show Battery Percentage On iPhone X/iPhone 10

Some iPhone X/iPhone 10 owners are not even sure about the way that the battery level is indicated on the main screens of their iPhones. They got used to instantly know when the battery level is going low, but they pay little to no attention to the display mechanisms.

If you usually pay attention to details, however, you might be bothered by seeing just a gradually changing color. It’s true, the percentage is more intuitive and easier to read. But then again, many people settle for the default display option because they don’t know that they have an alternative.

You’re here, so you knew about it or you just found out. Either way, you want to be able to read the battery level with accuracy, don’t you? That’s what we will try to show you. It’s not complicated at all – in fact, it takes 5 straightforward steps – but it can prove extremely useful. The percentage will never let you down, letting you know in time when to plug in the charger!

To see the battery level in percentages on the iPhone X/iPhone 10 screen:

  1. You must turn on the iPhone X/iPhone 10 ;
  2. Open the Settings app from its dedicated icon;
  3. Stop at the well-known General section;
  4. Locate the sub-menu listed as Usage and select it;
  5. Identify the entry listed as Battery Percentage and tap on it.

With the final step presented below, you have automatically changed the status of the Battery Percentage. From Off (as it is normally set when you can’t see the percentage on the display) to On, just like you wanted it to be. Try that and you can be sure that the iPhone X/iPhone 10 will only display the battery level, from now on, in percentages!
