If you own an iPhone smartphone, you probably should know how to unlock activation lock iPhone without the password for iCloud? The good news is that Apple has an anti-theft feature called “Find My iPhone” that is connected to your Apple ID that has been set for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If your Apple device is stolen or lost, you can sign into Find My iPhone and see where you device is located. Also the good news is that your smartphone or tablet can’t be restored back to factory settings without the username and password of your Apple ID.
Apple developed the Activation lock to help find your iPhone and not allow someone to use your stolen iPhone and later try to sell it to someone else. The only bad thing about the “Find My iPhone” feature is that if you’ve bought your iPhone or iPad from somewhere like eBay or Craigslist and the old owner forgot to deactivate “Find My iPhone” you’re probably facing some issues right now.
How to Disable iOS Activation Lock
Older iOS have a bug that allows users to bypass and disable Apple’s Activation Lock without password. This can be done by restarting your iPhone and waiting for the screen to show up asking for iCloud settings. Next try to disable “Find My iPhone” and at the same time, turn off your iPhone. Once the iPhone is turned back on, the Activation Lock may be deleted based on the iOS you have on the iPhone or iPad.
Another solution to remove and disable the Apple ID is to call the person that you purchased the iPhone or iPad from and have them sign into their iCloud account and remove that Apple device from their Apple ID.
