The Split Screen View feature together with the Multi Window mode may seem intimidating at first. The iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR devices have wide displays but the thought of splitting it into two sides and running two apps simultaneously doesn’t occur too often. And still, one day, out of sheer curiosity or because of a real need, you might give this a chance. Prepare yourself to be surprised…
The apparent disadvantage of a smaller working space for each of the two apps running in parallel might be shadowed by the huge benefit of no longer having to constantly shift between apps. You just pick the two most important apps for your activity. And assuming that they are compatible with the Split Screen View on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR and iPhone X, you will be running them and working on them at the same time.
Want to enable the Multi Window mode on iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR?
- Begin with a fast screen unlock and stop by the Home Screen;
- Open the Settings app from its special icon;
- Go to the Display and Brightness options listed in there;
- Scroll to the Display Zoom section;
- Select View;
- Select Zoomed;
- Hit the Set button.
Now that you have activated the Use Zoomed option, you can leave the settings and start taking advantage of it right away. As you can see, there is nothing complicated about turning on the Split Screen View and the Multi Window mode on iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.
