Whatever you experienced on an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, rest assured, you haven’t tried it all if you haven’t activated the One-Handed Operation mode. Thanks to the TouchWiz technology, one can adjust the display to make it more efficient for single-hand use, specifically for right-handed or left-handed persons.
Not sure if you want to try this? Just remember how many times you had this feeling that the display is a bit too large or that keeping both hands busy is a bit tiring… That’s right, that’s what we are offering you, the chance to enjoy the full iPhone 8 experience with one hand. Want to know how to turn this feature on?
In order to enable the One-Handed Operation on the iPhone 8…
- Unlock the device;
- Launch the Settings;
- Go to General >> Accessibility;
- Identify the Reachability toggle;
- Switch that toggle from Off to On.
Right after you have implemented these 5 steps, expect for the iPhone to be ready for operating on it with one hand. Now, using the One-Handed Operation on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will depend on whether you need to use it with the right hand or with the left hand. Assuming you need to use the left hand, do the activation motion on the left area of the screen. Otherwise, do it in the right area and you’ll spot the differences.
