Internet Not Working For iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr

While iOS updates are supposed to improve the overall experience on an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max or iPhone Xr, in practice, it doesn’t always work like that. For this reason, the fact that software updates often generate Internet problems is well-known. Just the same, Apple users have beginning to rely on certain approaches for whenever the internet is no longer working on their iPhones. Not all of them will work as expected, which is why, sometimes, people end up buying a new router, performing a factory reset, or even taking the device back for warranty.

Now, you probably wouldn’t want to go through the entire above before you convinced yourself that there are simpler alternatives, would you? Speaking of which, here is what you should try first:

 

Reset the settings of your wireless network on the iOS:

Home Screen >> Settings >> Privacy >> Location Services >> System Services.

 

Reset the settings of the entire network on the iOS:

Home Screen >> Settings >> General >> Reset >> Reset Network Settings.

 

If none of the steps presented above (neither the Wi-Fi nor the network reset) helped you to fix the internet problem on iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus… The time has come for you to reconsider those options that we have mentioned in the beginning.

If you do that, before the reset or the new router, try to get the opinion of a technician. Maybe the solution is in a different direction, one that does not involve paying extra or having to start from scratch with iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, just because the internet wasn’t working. Of course, that’s something that only a specialist can decide!
