Owners of the Apple smartphone could be dealing with a problem that consists of no text sound on iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xr. This can be a headache for some as this make users not notified when messages are sent to them. There could be a few different things causing no text sound on iPhone 8 and we’ll talk about them below.

Some causes for no text sounds on iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr and iPhone 8 can be related to a Notification Center that doesn’t push certain alerts that you want to be alerted for. Another problem that could be causing this is that your phone is on either vibrate or silent mode, thus when you get a text or call you don’t hear the alerts. The following are steps to solve no text sound on iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xr.

 

Solution for no Text sound on iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus:

  1. Power on the iPhone.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Select on Sounds.
  4. Select on the Text Tone option.
  5. You’ll be able to adjust the alert issue here.

 

Allow for Text alerts to appear on Lock screen for iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr:

  1. Power on the iPhone.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Tap on Notification Center.
  4. Search and select on Messages.
  5. Scroll to the bottom and switch the “Show on Lock Screen” option to ON.

 

Changing Lockscreen alerts for SMS/Texts on iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus:

  1. Power on the iPhone.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Tap on Notification Center.
  4. Search and select on the Messages option.
  5. Go to the bottom and adjust the “Sounds” option to the sound you’d like to hear.
