This is a very easy action to perform on the Home screen of iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max or iPhone Xr. You will first have to access the list of widgets by long-pressing an empty area of the wallpaper. When the Edit Screen opens up, select the Widgets icon and select the particular widget that you wish to add. Then, you can return to the Home screen and tap the new icon, tap and hold on it (!), making use of the available settings – customizing the icon’s settings or even removing it from there.

When you want to move or to rearrange the already existing icons…

This should be even easier than the previously suggested actions. All you have to do is to select the icon that you want to move, hold it and start dragging it around. When you get to the part of the screen where you want to place it, you can simply release the selection and the icon will show up in there.
