As peculiar as it might sound, not all the Apple users reporting a screen rotation not working problem on iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max or iPhone Xr have this problem. They are usually divided into two main categories:
- the ones who accidentally disabled the screen rotation and now think that it no longer works;
- the ones who really have an issue with it.

Speaking of costs, do not hit the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xr screen rotation work back! You’ll encounter this kind of advice on some websites or forums but this is clearly not the right way to approach any kind of problem you might have with such an expensive device.
If you don’t want to bring the smartphone to its factory defaults (or even if you did it but without success), you might want to take the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max or iPhone Xr to an Apple technician. It’s either that or get used to the fact that you can no longer use the screen rotation and that the display will remain stuck on vertical.
