Texting Problem On iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max And iPhone XR – Fixed

Owners of the new iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max or iPhone XR can’t stop using this wonderful smartphone from Apple. This device comes with so many great features that some have called it the best phone to ever be released. One thing that people have complained about though is the texting problem on iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max or iPhone XR.

It’s most common that what has happened is that you’ve recently got your new iPhone X and switched the SIM card directly into the iPhone X from your old iPhone.

Also, you’ve probably forgot to deactivate iMessage on your old iPhone before using the iPhone X. Thus all old texts and messages are being sent over to your old iPhone instead of your new iPhone. But there’s a way to fix this, just continue reading below.

How To Fix iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR Can’t Receive Messages Issue:

The first thing you need to do is go to the Settings app on your iPhone. From here tap on Messages and select on the Send & Receive tab. Now browse and select on “Use your Apple ID for iMessage” and then type in your Apple ID to get control of iMessage. Once you do that you’ll need go verify the iMessage settings by going to “You Can Be Reached By iMessage At” entering your phone number here.

If that doesn’t work, there’s a second way to fix your text message problem on iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. This is recommended for those that don’t have their old iPhone anymore and need to sign out of iMessage to get iMessage working on iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.   1. Select on “No longer have your iPhone?”
  2. Type in the required info
  3. Go and get the Send Code that has been sent to you
  4. Enter the Confirmation Code into the disegnated area
  5. Select on the Submit button

 

After you follow the steps above, you shouldn’t be having anymore text message issues on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR and iPhone X. If the problem is still continuing for you, it’s suggested that you go to your local wireless carrier store and see if they can fix the problem for you.
