For those that own the new Google smartphone, you may want to be know how to use the Split Screen on Pixel and Pixel XL. This feature is also called Multi Screen Mode and it allows your smartphone to run several apps at the same time without having to switch between them.
It’s important to note that before you can start using Multi Window and Split Screen on Pixel and Pixel, you need to first enable this feature. Below we’ll explain how you can enable and then start using Split screen and Multi Window Mode on Pixel and Pixel XL.
Enable Multi Screen Window Mode
You need to first turn on the Multi Screen Mode by going into your phone’s Settings. Read the directions below to learn how:
- Turn on your smartphone
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Multi window under Device
- Change the Multi window toggle to ON
- Here you can set the Multi Window mode to default by selecting on the box next to Open.
Once you’ve turned on Split Screen on Pixel and Pixel XL, you’ll see a grey semi or half circle on your screen. This semi circle on your screen shows that you’ve turned on the feature and you can start using Multi Window with your phone.
Now tap on the semicircle to get Split Screen Feature to the front of the screen. Then choosing the icons from the menu that you want to operate at the same time. You should know that Split Screen on Pixel and Pixel XL will allow you to resize the window. You can do this by just pressing and holding the semi-circle and moving it to the anywhere on the screen.
