Once a year Google releases data that shows people what were the most popular searches on Google in the past year. For 2017 Google has finally announced its most popular searches for 2017. Based on all the different things going throughout the global this past year it’s not surprising that Google saw a huge increase in searches with the word “how.”

Searched like “how to help hurricane victims,” “how far can north korean missiles go,” “how does the travel ban affect me” and many more searches like this. This report from Google is also good way to see how the past year has played out and some of the most important things that have happened during the past 365 days.

Below is a list of the top 10 searches in 2017 from around the world. This list is in numerical order of the most searches:

It’s not surprising that Apple’s, Nintendo’s, Samsung’s and Microsoft’s flagship devices are at the top of the list. A few interesting things is that the Razer phone and the Oppo F5 made the top 10 list, but this does make some sense as more people around the world are getting access to smartphones, those that are alternatives to the iPhone and Galaxy models are getting more popular around the world. One device that interesting just missed out on the top 10 list was Google’s Pixel 2 device.
