Some OnePlus 6 owners like to use third-party texting apps for the different fonts and style options that they get with it. But they ignore the fact that their own smartphone comes with extra options for customizing not just the font size, but also the font style of the entire device.
In other words, those are not changes that apply to a particular app, but to any part of the device where texts are being displayed. To find out more on all that, there are only 3 steps that you need to take.
Step 1 – know how to get to the Font Size option:
- Unlock the screen;
- Go to the Notification Shade;
- Select the Settings icon;
- Select the Display menu;
- Go to Font.
Step 2 – know what to expect in terms of Font Style:
- Chocolate Cooky
- Cool Jazz
- OnePlus Sans
- Download Fonts
Step 3 – know what to do when you don’t like the defaults
As you have probably guessed from Step 2, the main options in terms of Font Style on your OnePlus 6 are the first four names: Chocolate Cooky, Cool Jazz, Rosemary and OnePlus Sans, all installed from the factory and ready to set with one click.
If you don’t like any of it in particular, or you just fancy about something different than what every other OnePlus 6 owner uses, you still have the option to Download Fonts. You can either use it from the Settings or directly launch the Google Play Store and run a search with the keywords “Download fonts”. You are only minutes away from knowing everything on how to change fonts in OnePlus 6.
