Have you ever received a call from a telemarketer or just other people that end up only as nuisance calls? If this is the case, then you are not alone. Well, then you are not alone.
A lot of people also get to deal with the issue and there’s no way of avoiding it, since most of the calls are mainly mystery calls, with no particular number appearing on the screen.
However, if you are using a Galaxy S8 or S8+ Plus, you can actually find out who the caller is or even avoid the calls altogether in the first place.
Both of the Galaxy devices have got this unique feature that locates and identifies any unsaved caller making a call to your phone. This feature is carrier dependent, which means that they are only available for particular carriers, but it is definitely worth a try at least.
This feature does not come enabled by default therefore you will have to manually activate it. And here is how you do it. Simply open on Settingsà Advanced Featuresà Identify Unsaved Numbers. Then toggle this option to ON. It is as simple as that, yet very few users are aware of it.
Now that you have enabled this feature, you will now get to find out who makes the call to your device even if you don’t have the caller’s name saved in your phone book. This feature is pretty cool and we can only thank Samsung for making a deal with White Pages as well to develop this system further.
As long as the caller’s number is registered on the White Pages database, it will show up with the name and number. This will enable you to avoid it if you already previously identified the caller as a telemarketer.
