Blocking A Call From Caller On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus

We all receive those bugging calls from people that won’t stop calling even when you don’t wish to be in contact. This is why it’s so important for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus owners to at least have an idea of how to block those nagging calls from those persons you don’t want contact.

There are many reasons why you would wish to block contact from particular persons on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus. Samsung terms call blocking as ‘’rejection’’ so I’ll use the term interchangeably with ‘’block.’’ Here is how you can block calls on your Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.

You might also wish to block a telemarketer or just a nagging contact that just won’t stop calling you. Either way, the step by step guide below will show you how to block a particular contact on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus.

  1. Power ON your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus
  2. Go to the Dialer app
  3. Press on Call Logs
  4. Choose the specific number you wish to block
  5. On the top right corner, touch on ‘more’
  6. Then choose ‘add to reject list’

If you followed the above guide successfully, you have effectively blocked an individual from contacting you anymore. However, if you wish to remove that contact from the auto-reject list for any reason whatsoever, just repeat the same procedure and select ‘remove from auto reject list.’
