The title might seem weird, considering that both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus devices come with some pretty powerful cameras. Nevertheless, some users have reported a problem precisely with the camera or, better said, with the pictures and videos it takes.
Low quality, unfocused photographs on such a mighty camera are outrageous, right? The funny thing is that a large number of the users who made such complaints were actually doing a silly mistake: they have forgotten to take off that protective plastic casing applied to the camera lens and heart rate monitor from the factory.
So, when you take your brand-new smartphone out of the box, among all the packaging you throw away, you should include the casing of the camera lens as well. If you didn’t do that and you’ve been getting poor photographs with your camera from the very beginning, the solution is more than simple. Take it off and your pictures will start looking better than ever.
Nevertheless, if you’ve removed all the plastic foils from your device, the time has come to play a little bit with the camera’s settings.
How to fix fuzzy images on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus:
- Turn on the device and access the camera;
- From the lower left side of the screen, access the Camera app settings;
- From the newly opened window, identify the option labeled as “Picture stabilization”;
- Disable Picture Stabilization function and get back to taking photographs with your camera.
This time, the results should be significantly better. No more fuzzy images and videos, no more precious moments lost on the way.
