Calibrate Auto Brightness On Samsung Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus

Did you know that the Samsung Galaxy S8 has an auto brightness feature for its display? With the auto brightness feature enabled, your device will change it’s display brightness depending on what environment it’s in. For example, if you are inside, the screen will automatically be dimmed. If you step outside into the sun, the Galaxy S8 display will automatically increase its brightness.

If you are constantly moving between different environments, the auto brightness feature is one of the easiest ways to keep your Galaxy S8 display bright enough to view without it being too bright whilst you’re in darker environments. Whilst the auto brightness feature usually works fine, sometimes the feature needs to be re-calibrated so that it works more efficiently.

If you’re noticing that your display isn’t being dimmed when it should be, or it’s not lighting up enough whilst outside, you’ll need to follow the steps below to learn how to calibrate the auto brightness on your Galaxy S8.
