Enable/Disable Wi-Fi Calling On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus

You can use the Wi-Fi calling feature in order to use your Samsung Galaxy S8 to place calls over a Wi-Fi network. This can be useful because you may not have any voice signal but you have Wi-Fi available. You can use the steps below in order disable or enable this feature.

Enable/Disable Wi-Fi Calling On Samsung Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus:

  1. Click on the Apps, and then select Settings starting at the Home screen.
  2. Choose Advanced calling.
  3. Choose Wi-Fi calling.
  4. Choose the setting you want by moving it Off or On.

Your device will place calls using the Wi-Fi automatically when the setting is “On” and using the Wi-Fi network. If you have stronger wireless connections, you can see that your calls are more high definition and clearer.

You can decide what network you want to use when you are roaming by clicking “When Roaming” on the Galaxy S8.

Where can I find the setting?

You can remove the setting if you do not like using Wi-Fi calling on your phone and also that it is not always allowed by your carrier.
