Is your Samsung Galaxy S8 failing to recognize some of the files on your micro SD memory card? If this is happening, it may be because the files haven’t been formatted correctly. Follow the information in this guide to find a fix.
If the memory card has not been formatted correctly, your Samsung Galaxy S8 will not be able to read the data that has been added to the memory card. You’ll need to re-format your memory card by using your Galaxy S8. First things first, make sure you backup any of the files that you originally wanted to move onto your micro SD card before you follow the steps in this guide.
Once you re-format the micro SD card, all files on the card will be wiped. Once you have backed up your data, follow the steps below.
