One of them is the perfectly done camera; an improved battery that lasts longer, Storage that allows you expandability, and not forgetting the ability to resist debris and water.
Now, these are exciting features and it is also true that while using these features you might experience some issues. Actually, users have reported multiple issues. Therefore, and in an effort to ease such experience, I started this tutorial that aims at helping you overcome these challenges.
In this particular tutorial, I will take you through solutions for the Auto replace issue on Galaxy S7 users have been facing which is also the case with your device. Some users have reported that the auto correct feature on the Samsung keyboard acts weirdly. In some cases, the feature will stop working. Or in other cases, while you want to put a punctuation mark the whole word changes to something else that doesn’t relate the intended meaning.
This is an issue that was not common in the past versions of Samsung. However, I have experienced the issue while typing on Galaxy S78. The feature changes the words that I type making it a horrible experience. Therefore, you might also want to deal with this issue once and forget about it. Continue reading for some of the solutions that allow you to handle the issue.
Solving AutoCorrect Problem On Galaxy S7
To begin with, you would like to switch the feature off completely.
- Ensure your Galaxy S7 is on
- Open a screen displaying the keyboard
- Adjacent to the space bar you will see dictation. Select and hold it for long.
- Select the settings icon which appears like gear.
- Tap on the predictive text so as to disable the feature.
You would also want to disable some other features on the keyboard. These include the Auto Punctuations that introduces the punctuation marks as you type text. There is also the predictive feature that is responsible for the words that are suggested just below the keyboard. The autofill inserts a word that is almost similar once you tap on the spacebar. The Auto Spelling Check will underline errors relating to spelling and the auto spacing will enter spaces between the words.
If you are still experiencing the challenge, you can consider the third-party keyboard apps that you can download from Play store so as to ensure your expectations are best met.
