Maybe you weren’t paying attention to it or maybe it was like that from the first time you got your Samsung Galaxy A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3. If you recently noticed that its touch key lights, like the Home button, are no longer lighting up, it doesn’t have to mean that the keys are broken.
You’ve sure tested this on your own – used the Home Button and you’ve seen it working, though, the light went off. As long as the button responds to any touch command, you can’t say it’s broken. But you can ask yourself where did the light go or what can you do to bring it back…
Due to the activation of the energy saving mode or an accidental deactivation of the touch keys’ light, you’ve ended up in this situation. So yes, basically, the Galaxy A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3 has its own menu for this feature. To check it out, you’ll have to go through a couple of submenus. But when you finally get there, you’ll see exactly its status and you will be able to adjust it accordingly.
You can check the Touch Key Light status of Samsung A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3 from:
- The Menu page;
- The Settings section;
- The Quick Settings submenu;
- The Power Saving option;
- The Power Saving Mode advanced feature;
- The Restrict Performance feature.
At that final step, you’ll see the option “Turn off touch key light” that you can uncheck. From now on, the Samsung Galaxy A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3 device should keep the Touch Key Light activated by default. You’ll no longer have to wonder if the key is still working or if there’s anything wrong about it. Now you know how to control it!
