Galaxy A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3: How To Do Multi Window

Maybe you’ve heard of the Multi Window Mode, also referred to as the Split Screen View. Or maybe you’ve seen others using it and you want to know if you can try it too, with your new Samsung Galaxy A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3.

The short answer is yes, you too have this feature and you can activate it in less than one minute. Now, for the long answer, read our instructions from below.

Activate the Multi Window mode on Samsung Galaxy A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3:

  1. Turn on the device;
  2. Stick to the Home screen;
  3. Swipe down the Notification shade;
  4. Head to the Settings menu;
  5. Go to Device >> Multi Window;
  6. Tap on its toggle to switch it to On;
  7. Look for the “Open in multi-window view” option and check it if you want this mode to be active by default, with any new app that you launch and that supports this feature.

The grey semi/half circle that pops on the screen after you do the entire above is the only sign you’ll need for confirmation. As long as it shows up, you have activated the feature. And now, you can tap it and bring the multi window up, on top of anything else. Then, you can start dragging the icons of the apps you want to launch on the split screen and they’ll automatically stick to only half of the screen.

If you have opened your two apps and you want to have more access to one of them, you can resize the multi window panel. By default, it allocates equal screen spaces to both apps. If you tap and hold that circle from the middle of the screen and then you move it to adjust the size of the two windows, you’ll get much closer to what you really need.

The Multi Window Mode for Samsung Galaxy A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3 is actually quite flexible. Now you have all the information you need to start testing it.
