You may have just gotten a Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus and you are in love with TouchWiz, especially the feature of being able to easily change the font of the system. This is has been included in all of Samsung’s flagship devices.
The feature includes parts that you can use other fonts other than the ones that Samsung has given you by downloading more font at the Google Play Store and app store for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.
Changes have been made by Samsung that have altered the system for fonts that show that the font is not compatible by giving an error message.
It was supposed to be in issue just from Samsung but the problem is also on the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus. The problem does not get fixed when you delete and reinstall the fonts either.
You cannot use other types of font since they have been disabled by Samsung, except for the “FlipFont”. There may be a variety of fonts that are in the Google Play Store, you can only use “FlipFont” on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus.
There is not much that you can do if the font that you like has a message of “Fonts not compatible” show up on your Galaxy S8. It is recommended for you to look up the “FlipFont” alternative. You can find some free fonts on your Google Play Store but a majority of the “FlipFont” app is paid for the Samsung Galaxy.
Samsung could have put these restrictions on because of some possible font piracy problems and licensing issues since a majority of FlipFonts can only be used by paying for them. It would have been nice to get a notice from Samsung before they implemented these option.
But you should now know how to fix the “Font Not Compatible” error message on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
