Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus: Manage Accounts Quickly

You can manage a number of Galaxy S8 accounts from within the S8 settings menu. There are options for setting up email accounts, social media accounts, and more. In this article, we take a look at the different options you can navigate through to setup the various accounts you own.

You will need to make sure you have the log-in details ready for your Samsung Galaxy S8 before you can manage your accounts.

 

How to Manage Galaxy S8 Accounts:

Add an account on your Samsung Galaxy S8:

  1. Swipe your finger down from the top of the screen to pull down the Notification Menu.
  2. Tap the Settings icon. The settings icon looks like a small gear in the top right corner.
  3. Scroll down through the settings app.
  4. Tap on the option for ‘Accounts’ when you see it.
  5. Tap the ‘Add Account’ button.
  6. Tap on the type of account you’d like to add to your Samsung Galaxy S8. There are a number of different categories, including; Samsung, Facebook, Firefox, Email, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, WhatsApp, Windows Live, OneDrive, Gmail Personal (IMAP), Gmail Personal (POP3), Office, and Twitter;
  7. Every account you choose to add will require either an email or username, and your password.
  8. Once you’ve entered your correct log-in details, you’ll be able to use your account on the Galaxy S8.

 

Delete an Account on your Samsung Galaxy S8:

  1. Swipe your finger down from the top of the screen to pull down the Notification Menu.
  2. Tap the Settings gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Scroll down through the settings app.
  4. Tap the Accounts option.
  5. On the next page, tap the account type that you’d like to remove.
  6. Tap the account name.
  7. Next, tap ‘More’ in the top right.
  8. In the following menu, tap the ‘Remove Account’ button.
  9. A confirmation box will appear. Tap to remove account.
  10. Most accounts will ask you to enter your password in before you can delete the account.
