Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus – WiFi Ends And Automatically Switch To Data (Solution)

The best way to proceed is to enter the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus Wireless settings:

  1. Turn on the device;
  2. Activate data connection;
  3. Access the general Settings;
  4. Go to Wireless;
  5. Look for the option labeled as Smart network switch;

With the wipe cache partition, your smartphone and data are protected. No need to worry that you will lose valuable information because you haven’t created a backup in advance. Just remember that you’ll have to run the recovery mode for activating this option.


How to wipe cache partition in recovery mode 

To enter the recovery mode, turn off the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus and then:

  1. Simultaneously press and hold the Power button, the Home button, and the Volume Up button;
  2. Within a few seconds, the device will vibrate shortly as it enters the Recovery Mode;
  3. Surf for the Wipe Cache Partition entry and start it;
  4. Wait for a few minutes for the process to complete;
  5. Use Reboot System Now to restart the smartphone.


If not even this method solved your Wi-Fi connectivity, perhaps there’s something irremediably wrong with your device.
