Do Not Disturb on Samsung Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus is a setting that allows you to not get distracted with all the notifications that come to your phone. If you turn on the mode, all the alarms and notifications will also be silent. You should not select “Turn off alarm and time” item if you are habituated in the usage of alarm and clock on your phone. You have also the option for turning on or off the Do Not Disturb mode automatically by setting the time of it. If you set the timing of turning on or off for the Do Not Disturb mode for once, the mode will be turned on or off automatically at the same time every day. System 1: Way Of Turning ON The Do Not Disturb Mode

  1. Go to Setting
  2. Touch on the icon labeled as “Sounds and vibration”.
  3. Choose “Do not disturb”
  4. Select either “Turn on now” or “Turn on as scheduled” and slide the toggle to “on”

 

System 2: Way Of Turning ON The Do Not Disturb Mode

  1. You may use your two fingers for swiping down on the Home screen.
  2. Touch and hold the icon named Do not disturb for a second
  3. Select either “Turn on now” or “Turn on as scheduled” and slide the toggle to “on”

 

Remember, there is difference between the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus Do not Disturb mode and the Blocking mode. Because if you block any contact, any calls or text from that contact will no longer be received in your phone. You may follow some instructions to block anyone.

 

Way Of Blocking Contacts On Samsung Galaxy S9 And Galaxy S9 Plus

  1. Go to App in your phone.
  2. Touch “Recent” to see the recent call log
  3. Tap on the number you would like to block
  4. Go to “More” option in the right corner of the top.
  5. Choose “Add to block list”

 

Following the above-mentioned methods you may use the Blocking and Do Not Disturb mode on Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus properly.
