The remaining power in your battery will not be shown in the notification bar on your Samsung Galaxy S8. At this point, you can be able to turn back on the Battery Percentage on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus. It can be convenient to know the remaining percentage of power in your battery but it is much better to have a neat and uncongested notification bar.
Do you ever miss a nicely clean notification bar? The battery percentage shows on your status bar once you turn on the toggle button On.
It can be a poor picture when you look at your notifications bar and find it filled with junk and other unnecessary stuff. This is especially so considering the cluttered user-interface on Samsung which compels you to do something to rectify the situation.
Setting an alarm, turning on Bluetooth or making a few more changes will use up a lot of space on your Galaxy S8 notification bar. If you turn off the battery percentage, you can save some good amount of space on the notification bar. You can still keep track of your battery since the icon will remain displayed.
To hide the battery percentage, simply follow the steps given below;
- From the app drawer on your Homescreen, launch the Samsung Settings app
- Browse through the settings to locate and select the battery option
- Simply click on the toggle which is located next to the Percentage on status bar. This can be easily found in the category for Remaining Battery Power.
