If you look at your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus’s notification bar, you may conclude that it is jammed with lots of staff. Just like most other Android devices, the user interface on the Samsung Galaxy S8, seems to be quite cluttered.
With some folks, the complex interface may not pose a problem at all. However you may find it convenient to have a neat and clean notification bar.
If you fill your notification bar with lots of apps then the bar will be no different than a real estate, junked and congested. For instance, using the NFC, Bluetooth and alarm among other apps will mean than more than half of your notifications bar is filled up.
To turn off the battery percentage on your smartphone is a best way of saving some space. Your battery icon still displays, this enables you to keep track of it. If the battery is low, you are will charge it anyway. To whom does it matter if the battery is low at 15 or 30 percent? In both cases it is still low.
Turning off the Battery Percentage on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus
- From your Homescreen, launch Settings. You can also do this from the app drawer
- Click on the battery at the bottom of the category
- Next to the “Percentage on status bar,” there is a toggle which you need to click on. This is found under category designated as “Remaining battery power”
Your notification bar now looks more neat and nice. If you are looking for in Ultra Save Mode for this option, you will not find it. The reason being that this option has its own parameters in the notification bar. The Battery Percentage will pop in in the ultra-Power Saving Mode even after you have turned it off
