Being able to add a Google Account on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus devices is an extremely helpful feature. But what if you have more than one account that you normally use on your computer? Can your smartphone handle that one too? Of course, it can, though, at this stage, you probably do not know how to do it. You see, the first time when you’re , it is all so intuitive because the smartphone is actually telling you what to do, when and how to configure the Google Account.
Once the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is up and running, however, it may not be so obvious where do you start from when it comes to adding a new email account, whether it is for personal or business use. A Google or a Gmail account, even two or more if that’s what you really need, can easily be added by following the instructions provided below.
Just make sure you set up some rock-solid passwords, to keep your data protected. And, since you’re increasing the number of accounts, it might also be a good idea to have a in place. But let us cut to the chase and show you what you have to do.

What else you need to know?
It may not be very obvious but, if you have to ask, yes, whatever Google accounts you add to your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus, you can remove it anytime you want. To do so, you will need to return to Settings and, under the Accounts section, at the Google option, you simply select the account you wish to eliminate and tap on the option labeled as Remove account.
Back to using your newly added Google account, after you have followed the initial steps, you will have to do one more thing for it to actually start synchronizing and receiving emails. Go back to the Home screen and launch the Gmail app at least once. After this point, you can proceed to make additional setting changes and set up your preferences.
As a final observation, both accounts will be accessible from the same app. Every time when you need to switch from one account to another, you will have to tap on the 3-line icon to access the menu and you’ll see it as a slide-out menu where you can select the account you wish to see.
Tap on the email address of the account you’re currently looking at or right at the downward arrow sitting next to it and you will see the alternative email. Select the desired account and enjoy using it! On this occasion, you will also notice an “Add account” option that you can use anytime you want to add a new Gmail account.
