The Home feature of your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus can do a lot more than to automatically take you back to the Home screen. Just like the title of this article suggests, it can also help you to quickly answer a call, without having to swipe the icon on the screen.
This feature will come in handy in times when you’re busy or your fingers aren’t necessarily clean enough to touch the display. A short tap on the Home button, however, will work out, letting you take calls fast and convenient.
How to accept calls fast on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus
If you want to use the Home button for taking calls, you first need to activate a special feature of the Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus. With the smartphone turned on,
- Swipe the notification bar to launch the Menu;
- Tap on Settings;
- Tap on Accessibility;
- Tap on “Answering and ending calls”;
- Under this section, you will see an option labeled as “Press the Home key”;
- Tap on that option and exit the menus.
When you tapped on the “Press the Home key” option, the toggle switch next to it automatically went from Off to On. From now on, every time a call is in progress and you tap on the Home button, you will automatically answer it.
Obviously, whenever you get back to this option and switch the toggle back to Off, you deactivate the feature. But until then, feel free to enjoy this handy option on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.
