How To Avoid Saving Browser History On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus

We use our smartphones, be it Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ Plus, or anything else, every single day. We surf the web, we access personal information and emails, we store important things on it. Throughout this time, we are clueless that Google tracks our moves and stores data about our search history and preferences, just so it will better target its advertising on us.

If you want to put an end to all that, the simplest and most effective way is to activate the Private Mode when using the Internet. With this mode turned on, none of your viewing history, search queries, login details, passwords or anything else will be saved.

The Private Mode was specifically designed to be a kill switch. You activate it and it will never remember a thing from what you viewed, what you typed in, what you clicked on while surfing the web. The only thing it will continue to store even when using the Incognito Tab is the cookies, but that’s another story, for another time. Below we’ll explain how to avoid saving history on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.

To turn on the Private Mode: launch the Google Chrome browser >> tap the 3-dot icon from the upper right corner >> tap on New Incognito Tab >> start typing and searching in the newly opened black screen.

If you’re not a big fan of the Google Chrome browser, use the Play Store to find third-party browsers that have the incognito mode activated by default. Whether it’s the Opera Browser for Samsung Galaxy S8, with its browser-wide privacy mode, the popular Dolphin Zero, or any other option, you can pick whatever you enjoy most.
