If you have a Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus it is good to know how you can block calls from specific people. Many people have different reasons for wanting to block calls. You can block individual callers directly from the Phone application on your Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ Plus. From the Phone application, tap the Call Log option and click on the number you would like to block. At the top right corner select on “More” and then choose to “Add to auto reject list”. This will automatically auto rejects future calls from that number.


Blocking unknown callers on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus

If you own the Galaxy S8 or S8+ Plus smartphone, you are likely to get random calls from unknown callers. If you would like to block such callers, go to the auto reject list and add the option to reject incoming calls from unknown callers.

The phone app provides the best alternative to blocking calls. On your Samsung Galaxy smartphone simply choose the option for “more” which is located at the top right corner of the phone app. The option should also have the Settings menu from which you can choose Call Rejection. From here, tap on the Auto reject list. At this point you can easily add the phone number you would like to block. This page also acts as a history for all the numbers you have blocked previously. This will help you to unblock those contacts you no longer need to auto reject their calls.
