How To Block Private Numbers On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+ Plus

You may have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus and you are getting frustrated with a lot of people calling or messaging you and you do know what the number is. However, you may be able to change that since there are features on most smartphones that allow you to block messages and calls that are incoming from numbers that are hidden.

The steps you need to follow may be a bit different from other devices since they are programmed a bit differently but most you need to go to the Phone app. Take a look at the steps below in order to learn how to do this for your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus.


Unknown Number Block Calls on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus

  1. Have the Phone app opened and click on More, Call Settings, and Call Rejections.
  2. Then click on the Auto reject list.
  3. Then Toggle On the Unknown option.


You may need to install and download apps for call blocking if you do not have options on your Android smartphone to block unknown calls such as apps as SMS and Call Blocker or Extreme Call Blocker.
