For those that own the new Samsung smartphone, you may want to know how to check text delivery report on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus. The delivery report is something that lets you know when text message has been sent correctly, also called “Message receipt.”
The delivery report on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus is a feature that has your wireless carrier sends you a signal that your SMS or message has been sent to the recipient correctly.
It’s important to note that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus delivery report will not inform you if that message has been read or not. Below are the steps on how to check delivery report on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.
Check if Text Message was delivered on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus
- Turn on your smartphone
- Open the Messenger app
- Tap on More
- Select Settings
- Tap on More Settings
- Browse and select on Text messages or Multimedia messages
- Now look for the Delivery reports option and activate it
After you’ve followed the steps above, you’ll be able to see an option saying “View message details“. While other wireless carries will have this featured named under “View report“.
You’ll be able to see a status in your message saying “Received“, “Delivered“, and sometimes you’ll just see the delivery date of the message. But if the message has still not be received by the recipient, then you’ll see a status of “None” or “Pending” in the field.
It’s a good idea to keep the delivery report on Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy S8 on if you continuously send important or time sensitive information.
