How To Clear Cache Samsung Note 8

For those that own the new Samsung smartphone, it’s a good idea to know how to clear cache on Samsung Note 8. The best thing about when you clear cache on Samsung Note 8 is that it can fix problems that you’re having with your phone.

The first thing you should do before completing a factory reset is to do a Note 8 clear cache. Similar to all phones, the Samsung Note 8 has two different types of cache. The first is the system cache that is for the operating system and the other is app cache which is different for individual apps.

You can easily delete the individual app cache by going to the Settings of the Note 8, but to complete a cache clear of the system, you’ll need to get your Note 8 into Recovery Mode. If you don’t know how to do this, don’t worry we’ll provide instructions on this below.

  1. Turn on your phone
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap on App Manager
  4. Tap on the problematic app
  5. Go to the info screen of the app
  6. Select on Clear Cache
  7. Select on Clear Data
  8. Follow the same steps above for any other apps that you want to clear cache for

 

When you go to clear app cache on Samsung Note 8, it’ll help clear any unwanted information that is saved on the app. Thus it’ll allow for better performance of the app. It’s important to note that clearing cache of that app will also remove all passwords, usernames and saved settings that you have within that specific app.

 

How to clear system cache on Samsung Note 8:

If clearing the cache of an individual app didn’t solve your problem, then the next recommendation is to clear system cache. Before you complete a system cache wipe, you might want to try to uninstall some apps and then hard reset your Note 8. But if that doesn’t fix the issue, you might have to just complete a cache partition of Samsung Note 8 by following these steps:

  1. Turn off your Note 8
  2. At the same time, hold on the Home, Volume and Power buttons
  3. Let go of the Power button once the device vibrates
  4. Now when the Android logo appears, let go of all keys
  5. Browse and select on Wipe Cache Partition
  6. Use the Power button to begin the Cache Partition

 

After you’ve followed the steps above, you should know how to clear cache on Samsung Note 8 two different ways. The first is by clearing app cache and the other is via a system cache partition.
