Below is a guideline on how you can create a bookmark of your preferred site by dragging it to your Home screen to ease its access.

When you hit on any icon on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Home screen, it will instantly take you to your favorite’s page. When choosing on an icon on the Home screen, it acts like an app to bring the bookmarked page up. This is especially important as you don’t have to manually launch the Google Chrome or type in any website.

 

Adding a Bookmark

  1. Go to the Home screen and press “Internet”. If Internet is not a shortcut on your device, go to Home screen and press on Apps > Samsung > Internet
  2. Browse the web page you wish to bookmark by going to Bookmarks> Add
  3. Press on it to alter the bookmark title, URLs and so on then hit “Save”

How to edit bookmarks

  1. Go to the Browser app
  2. Hit Bookmarks
  3. Press and hold on a bookmark then hit “More > Edit Bookmark. Edit the Bookmark then hit OK.

 

How to delete a Bookmark

  1. Go to the Browser app
  2. Hit on Bookmarks
  3. Press and hold on the bookmark, then press “delete”

 

How to show saved Web Pages

  1. Go to the Browser app
  2. Hit on Bookmarks > Saved Pages then press a saved page to open it
