So, you were very excited the first time you got your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus… You were anxious to test the Heart Rate Monitor from the S Health suite and that was one of the first things you tried.
Are you unhappy with how it works? Do you tend to believe it is not giving you the most accurate results? Ask yourself one thing – did you remove the protection foil sitting on top of the heart rate sensor? If you didn’t, it’s ok, many Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus users forget about it, so you’re not the only one who did this mistake.
What matters most is that you learn from it and proceed, right away, to removing that nasty foil that impairs your results. You’d be surprised, but it won’t take you more than a piece of scotch tape.
You just place the tape on the lens of the heart rate sensor, gently press with the tip of your fingers, to make sure it perfectly attached to it, and then, remove the tape slowly. The thin film should go away, together with the scotch tape. Now go ahead and test the Heart Rate Monitor – this time, the Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will give you flawless results.
