How To Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Note 8

If you happen to own a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and it becomes unresponsive, or it starts acting out abnormally, don’t even try to bang it on your palm. That barely works. Instead, hard reset your smartphone, and by doing so, you will have set back its settings to the original state; like you just bought it.

  1. With your Samsung Note7 turned on, press the menu button on your home screen and select settings.
  2. Choose the backup & reset option and reset the device. However, you will need to select erase everything for it to take effect.

  1. First of all, ensure that the Samsung Note 8 is turned off.
  2. With fingers placed at the Volume up button, the home button and the power button, press and hold all the same time until the Samsung logo appears.
  3. Using the volume buttons, scroll to Recovery mode menu “wipe data/factory reset and press the power button for the go ahead.
  4. Choose “yes-delete all user data” and then “reboot system ”
