Power saving is essential for any smartphone. But Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus are even more sensitive on this chapter. With all the performances they boast and the apps that users run on it, the battery can drain out quickly.
Moreover, the configuration of these devices doesn’t allow you to change the battery by yourself. Long story short, you have all the reasons to take care of your device’s battery. And you can do that by setting the Power Saving Mode as permanently active.
With this functioning mode ON, you will save the life of your battery during times when you don’t have a charger at hand. The device will reduce its power consumption. And you will be able to use it for longer periods of time.
By default, the Power Saving mode will turn ON when the battery life of your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus is under 20%. In this article, we’ll show you how to keep the function active all the time. As you’ll discover soon, it’s a matter of accessing the Status bar.
How to keep Power Saving mode ON all the time
Adjusting the settings of your device will start from the general Settings menu:
- From Settings, select the Battery;
- Tap on the Power Saving Mode;
- Tap on Start Power Saving Mode;
- Select Immediately.
When tapping on the Start Power Saving, you will get a list of options, suggesting to activate the mode when the battery power goes down to 5%, 15%, 20% or even 50%. If you select the Immediately option, your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus will minimize battery consumption all the time! Rest assured, your user experience won’t have to suffer because of that.
