One thing that’s specific of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus built-in dictionary is that it is really comprehensive. With cool features such as the ability to spell right and crazy auto correct features, it’s one of its kinds in the current Android market.
However, the Android dictionary is not tailored to meet everyone’s requirements of a dictionary. That is the reason Google allows a user to use personal dictionaries on their Android tablets and smartphones. You can insert new vocabularies, names and so on that you don’t want misspelled or flagged on Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus.
And adding a vocabulary to your personal dictionary is pretty easy as well. Once you input a word and you realize that the word is misspelled or flagged, you only have to touch on the word to include it in your personalized dictionary. Misspelled or flagged words will normally be highlighted in RED whenever you are typing a message in whichever messaging app you might be using.
Also, adds new vocabularies from your Android’s phone settings menu. Tap on Settings> Language & Input> Personal dictionary. Then type in the required word (you can add an optional shortcut if you so wish) and that’s that. All added words will be visible on your next access of your personal dictionary. You can also delete any word if you so wish by simply tapping on it by using the Delete sign that pops up afterwards.
