How To Personalize Galaxy S8 / Galaxy S8+ Plus In Terms Of Fonts Style And Size

With every new smartphone, Samsung is introducing new features. While we sit and anxiously wait for their next model, we cannot help but investigate and try to make the best of the current flagships, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.

Today, we’d like to bring to your attention the widely discussed TouchWiz technology. Thanks to it, users can tweak some customization options that otherwise they wouldn’t even dream of.

If you’re tempted to make the best of the TouchWiz and to run some significant interface changes, you’re going to learn how to play with fonts. From font types and styles to the actual size, there’s more you can decide on than you might have thought.

How to change the fonts on Galaxy S8 / Galaxy S8+ Plus

It’s all in the general Settings, you know?

  1. From the Home screen, launch the Menu;
  2. Tap on Settings;
  3. Tap the Display icon;
  4. Look up for the Font subsection;
  5. Access it and pick your desired font and font size.
  6. Hit the Done button when you’re… done.

As you jump from one font to another, you will soon enough notice that you can preview every single one of them, right at the top of the display.

While it is true that, at this point, the options may not be as generous as you were hoping, you can personalize your device by downloading other fonts from the Google Play Store. You just open the app, run a search for “Download fonts” and see what you like from what you get.

While you’re on this screen with Fonts, you might as well adjust the default size of the fonts. Nevertheless, proceed with caution – at some point, if the default font size that you select is too big, you might notice it affects some of the UI elements!
