The new Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus smartphone has the Do Not Disturb feature, although it is actually the Blocking Mode. Apple iOS uses the name Do Not Disturb for this feature hence the same why Samsung cannot use the same name.
This feature can be found on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus only that instead of looking for Do Not Disturb feature, you should look for a feature called Block Mode. This is perhaps the reasons why most Samsung Galaxy S8 users have not been able to access this feature on their smartphone. The Block Mode allows you to block notifications and calls.

The features section will give you access to a number of alert types and sounds which are blocked similar to the Do Not Disturb Mode on the iPad and the iPhone. Select on “Block incoming calls and Turn Off notifications.” Do not attempt to turn check the box for “Turn off alarm and time”.
It is possible for you to set when you would like your Galaxy S8+ Plus to automatically turn on the Blocking Mode. Although you cannot change the weekend and weekday schedules or automatically changing the schedule basing on your calendar, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus allows you to set the Blocking Mode for any specific schedule. You can also choose an option which will allow some of your phone contacts to bypass the Blocking Mode. You can opt to customize a contact list whose calls cannot be blocked or you can decide to block every contact in your phone. Selecting favorites will ensure that only contacts which have a star will be able to reach you when the block mode is activated.
The custom contact list can be added at the bottom of a Do Not Disturb page. If a repeat caller that you have blocked keeps calling, the Block Mode will continuously block them. You can easily add this number to the reject list. This is achieved by creating a new contact using that number and once it has been added to the contact list on your phone, simply click on the three dots found at the upper right section. This will provide options to choose from and then proceed to add to the reject list that particular contact.
