However, it is obviously not without flaws and its newly acquired users soon began complaining about various problems. The Bluetooth issue was one of the issues commonly raised by the users. Ways to fix the Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus Bluetooth issues
Method 1: Toggle the ON/OFF Bluetooth switch
This is probably the easiest fix to your Bluetooth problems on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus. Simply go to Settings and switch OFF the Bluetooth option. Then wait for a couple of seconds and then switch it ON again. You can also use this idea to fix other problems such as Wi-Fi and GPS without regard of the smartphone you are using. If this does not fix your problem, try the following fixes.
Method 2: restart the smartphone
Restarting your device fixes the Bluetooth issue in just a matter of seconds if it works. To restart your device, tap and hold on the Power key and a pop up menu appears. Hit Restart.
Method 3: Clear the Bluetooth cache
This again is one of our most effective fixes of the Bluetooth problem. Just follow the guidelines below
- Go to settings >Applications manager >then swipe right/left to bring the “All” icon and then choose “Bluetooth”
- Hit on force stop
- Then hit clear cache then clear data
- Press OK to confirm the restart of your phone
Method 4: clear the previous pairings and then reset them
The other way of fixing the Bluetooth problem on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus is through deleting of the previous Bluetooth pairings then resetting them. To perform this, go to Settings >Bluetooth and a list of all the pairings on your device will display. Press on the Settings icon adjacent to the Paired devices one after the other and hit the forget key to clear them. Restart your phone then try pairing them once more. Check to see whether the problem is resolved.
Method 5: update the Bluetooth software
Make sure that your Bluetooth software is well updated. It is advisable that you check the user manual as well as the manufacturer’s website for you to have additional information.
Method 6: wiping the cache partition
The other useful method of solving the Bluetooth issue is through getting your device into recovery mode, then wiping the cache partition
- Power OFF your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus
- Then hit the Power, Volume Up and the Home keys simultaneously for a couple of seconds
- After the Android screens pops up, release all the 3 keys
- Use the Volume Up key to highlight and the Power key to select. Choose “Wipe Cache partition” then restart your smartphone.
Once your device is switched ON, try to check whether your Bluetooth issue is resolved.
Method 7: reset your device to its factory settings
This is the final method and we only suggest it if you’ve tried all the above 6 methods and failed. This method erases all your data from your device, so you may need to back up your important information before performing the reset.
Go to Settings >Backup & Reset >Factory reset> Reset phone and it deletes everything on your smartphone
