One of the most talked about features on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Note 9 and Note 10 is the new sidebar feature. You can access this feature by swiping from the edge of your screen inwards, dragging the sidebar into the display. The sidebar offers a multitude of easy to access functions that will greatly improve the functionality and user quality of your new Note smartphone. The sidebar will offer options such as Contacts or the Quick Tool.
On your new device, the sidebar is activated by default settings. You can, however, disable your sidebar so that it does not appear on your screen at any time. The following steps will teach you how to quickly and easily remove the sidebar option on Note 10, Note 9 and Note 8 from your display.
How To Turn OFF Sidebar On Note 8, Note 9 And Note 10
- Open your Home screen
- Open your apps menu
- You then need to open the General Settings
- Once you have accessed the settings, select “Page Screen.”
- Tap the Page Panels option
- You will see a toggle switch allowing you to enable and disable the sidebar function on Note 8, Note 9 or Note 10 device.
Once you exit from this menu, you should no longer see the sidebar or the sidebar symbol on the top of your screen. This may clear up your display view. If at any time you decide that the sidebar may be useful, you can enable it again by accessing the same menu and sliding the toggle bar in the other direction.
