How To Use Screen Mirror On Samsung Galaxy Note 9 And Note 8

How would you like to replace the limited screen size of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or Note 8 with the extended size of your TV’s monitor, without giving up on the phone’s resources? That’s right, we are talking about screen mirroring, something that your smartphone is perfectly capable of. You might have to get some extra tools and choose between a wireless and a wired connection. Until you do that, let us show you the exact instructions that should accompany each option to use screen mirror on Note 9 and Note 8.

For a Galaxy Note 8 and Note 9 – TV wireless connection:

  1. Buy a Samsung AllShare Hub;
  2. Buy an HDMI cable;
  3. Connect the Hub to the TV via the HDMI;
  4. Connect the Hub and the Note 8 to the wireless network;
  5. From your Samsung smartphone, activate the Screen Mirroring, under the general Settings.

For a Galaxy Note 8 and Note 9- TV hard wired connection:

  1. Buy an MHL adapter;
  2. Buy an HDMI cable;
  3. Connect the Samsung Note 8 or Note 9 to the MHL adapter;
  4. Power the adapter by plugging it into a power source;
  5. Connect the adapter to the TV via the HDMI cable;
  6. Use the TV remote or its menus to set it to display images through the HDMI port.

By the end of any of these two sets of instructions, your Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or Note 9 will mirror its content on the TV. Just bear in mind that if you already have a Samsung SmartTV, you will no longer need the AllShare Hub. As for the hard-wired connection, it’s essential that you purchase an MHL adapter that is compatible with your smartphone, otherwise, it won’t work!
